    ou are cordially invited to participate in the 15th International Student Congress of
    Medical Sciences that will take place from June 3rd until June 6th, 2008 in Groningen,
    The Netherlands. The primary aims of the congress are to offer a venue for student
    research exchange, get medical students acquainted with research, and to support
    student research.

    ABSTRACT DEADLINE: 15 FEBRUARY 2008

    Mission Statement

    The primary aims of the congress are to offer a venue for student research exchange,
    get medical students acquainted with research, and to support student research. By
    offering an attractive programme of oral presentations, poster sessions and workshops,
    young researchers from different countries will be able to exchange their work and
    share new ideas and views. By offering such a meeting place, the congress pursues to
    stimulate international co-operation between research groups that actively stimulate
    student participation in their research. Thereby the congress provides a starting point
    for interested and talented students to pursue a career in medical research.

    Setting

    The setting for the congress is Groningen, a city that is breathing student life, and is
    famous for its University, that is one of the oldest in The Netherlands. We also offer an
    extended social programme that exists of multiple events in this dynamic city, spread
    over the congress days. The programme ends with a post-congress tour, in which you
    can see a little more of The Netherlands accompanied by the organisation of ISCOMS
    2008!
